  • I just want to give all glory and praise and blessings to my Great Jehovah God who is our strength and our help for his mercy endures forever. Lately my mother has been going through some trials; some of them being health issues that have withstood all her prayers and fasting, have been making her depressed to the point of affecting her speech. Sadly, it seems I'm the only one in the family that seemed to notice her change in disposition and so with all my heart and soul I determined to cheer her up in any way I could, but with little to no success. At my wits end I turned to him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat, my only hope for my mother's recovery, our great physician, through our living saviour Jesus Christ to plead with him for restoration of my mother's physical, mental, and spiritual health unto life. He is so gracious and merciful to us I knew he would deliver and the day after provided a small ray of hope in the form of my brother. He offered to help me get my mom out of the house for a relaxing evening at the beach - something I've been unable to convince her to do for the past couple years; and she agreed. Halelujah! We had a relaxing afternoon and my brother and I could notice a small improvement in her mood. Praise the Lord! And so I lift up my hands in praise to my Almighty God and glorify him from the depths of my soul for this tiny breakthrough that I pray is the begining of my mother's return to the joy and gladness she knew when she first discovered how great and wonderful our God is. I will bless him with all my soul in the name of his son Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible for his mercy endures forever. Amen.

  • Dear Sir/ Madam Prayers are said daily at the Chapel. Can you please pray for Mr. Duong? Your reply will be most appreciated; I will then let Mr Duong know of this to ease his pain. I am not trying to raise money. British Gas had issued a bill for about £29,000 to a friend of mine, who runs a small takeaway in Dorset UK; he is now under a lot of stress and started smoking and loosing lot of weight. I strongly feel that he will not be able to cope with this sudden problem, and strongly feel the worst is yet to come. The Bible promises that “The Word of God is effectually at work in you who believe]". (1 Thessalonians 2: 13 AMP) Many thanks in advance.

  • Good day. I am Aleksander, Adventist from Russia. Would you read my prayer request. Recently I have known that it is possible that my mother have cancer please pray for her and for my parent’s everlasting salvation. I am almost in despair as I am ill with schizophrenia, it is horrible and it steps back only when I drink psychotropic tablets that also don’t let me to live normal life and have healthy sleep, my life is empty because of them. I want to free from schizophrenia so that I could live without tablets, please pray for that. Pray that I could know what to do and could have power to live victorious Christian life and to overcome my sins that are very great. I also need very much to feel Gods presence in my life. I want to serve the Lord being healthy and I am still young for that. I am 33. My problem is that I cannot know whether I am free from schizophrenia until I forsake tablets, but if I do that schizophrenia comes back and I get into mental hospital, and life there is horrible so I am afraid to forsake tablets. Pray that if the Lord heals me from schizophrenia that I and my parents could know that certainly even if I accept psychotropic tablets that keep me far from my illness. Because of my illness I cannot live by oneself and I do not know what will be with me when my parents die. Besides I am concerned about their everlasting life as there are not Adventists. Thank you for your prayer, it is really very necessary and valuable to me. I often lose heart and think of suicide. Please pray that the Lord would heal me. I hope that you will pray for me for several months or as long as possible and until I tell you about the answer from God.

  • I'm 29 years old (Protestant Christian) currently in a Relationship with a Girl who's 8 yrs my senior, (from a different Christian background), who I want to marry and settle down with by GOD's Grace. But Parents on both sides (my Dad & Mom and her Dad) & Relatives do not agree, (due to the age & background) and don't want us to marry. We would like to marry & settle down with GOD's Grace & Blessings and Approval of both our Parents, on both sides. Please pray for us to get married & settled down without any obstruction and for GOD to guide us both through our remaining lives, to treat each other with care, honesty, love, trust & understanding and also for us to remain steadfast in our faith. Please pray for us, to be Blessed by Our Father's Grace and for his timely intervention, so that we would not have to split up or hurt the Parents on both sides. Now we have started having problems, she does not see a future for us together & wants to be just Friends (after more than 1 year); as she feels she's hurting me !!! I'm completely broken up inside... I don't want to hurt her or lose her !!! I know she still likes me & is hurting inside... She has taken this decision to save us from the problems she thinks will happen in the future... Please pray for Our Heavenly Father, to show us the way forward; as we both know if we are in a Relationship today its only b'coz of GOD's Grace & Plan or we would never have met at all in Life !!! Pray that: (1) Our Heavenly Father talks to her Heart & makes her understand we both are going to be miserable, if we are not together...   • Please join with me in prayer for my husband, Mick. He has had 3 open heart surgeries in 30 days, 2 of them he was on the heart and lung machine. They needed to replace his heart pump, a bridge to a heart transplant, twice because of blood clots. During the second surgery his kidneys stoppped working and he became very critically ill. I am asking God to raise him from this illness with strength and for his kidneys to work well again. I am also asking God that he will become well enough to have the heart transplant. Also he developed a severe pain in his left hipthat he needs healing for. Thank you for praying for him.

  • Hello I would like to request an urgent prayer for my auntie Mitou who had been going through chemo because of cancer. Her son who lives in Washington went to see her in the south of France. She is in bad shape, but I know that God can heal her! My other auntie also has cancer. Her name is Christianne. In fact she is scheduled to have surgery in 2 weeks. They do not believe in natural remedies. I know that God is the healer, as God has completely healed me from bipolar 2 years ago using natural remedies. I know that cancer can be healed too. Right now I am in the middle of a very complicated workman’s compensation case and things do not look good. Even though I was injured on the job, they claim it was pre-existing, and my attorney is having a tough time with the defense attorney and the judge. If this comes thru, we will be able to pay down most of our debts, so I ask God with a heavy heart to grant my request. Our God is merciful, I need you to come to my rescue.

In our country corruption,nepotism and tribalism is a way of getting good and rewarding jobs.By now, it's gotten even worse. I can't find any rest, I worry about my job and my mortgage payments every night. I am currently under financial pressures and i can't meet all my financial obligations.I've tried business in the past but my partners have conned me and lost all the money in the process. I've assisted friends and relatives with my money but refused to pay me back despite having promised to pay back. I'm frustrated.I cannot relax or enjoy myself. I've a young family and I must say we are straining.I was so happy with current job but I can't meet all my financial obligations, i can't do all what I aspire to do. Dear Lord, please help me. Help me get out of my depression so I can function optimally at my job.   • My COPD & being on oxygen has made me house bound most of the time. Since I lost George depression has been a constant battle. I despertly need financial help in the amount of $2500. to pay the increased medical needs. My social security is my only income. Cancer is expensive and to pay George's medical bills, we had to cash in our 401K's and retirement funds. I know the power of prayer because it has worked in my life many times. But, for some reason I need extra help. I have always been taught that what God brings you to He will bring you through.

  • I am going through a divorce now in my life and I am depressed and hurt and lost. I loved my wife so much and I worked hard for her and my little boy. I never physically abused her I never committed adultery on her and I was the best husband I can be. Me and my wife had a argument and mean and hurtful things were said and I regret what I said to her. I guess I was abusive by words and I regret it. I said it out of anger and fear of her family and also my own hatred. But I cant take it back and she wont forgive me and she don’t want reconciliation. I handled things the wrong way and I acted the wrong way. Her church a Sunday church I feared them and there doctrine being I am a Adventist doctrine Christian I was afraid my son being around them and I guess her church is encouraging her to divorce me. I cant live through this I am hurt and lost and wanting to die. I think in my mind if I die I will be free from this pain because all I lived for was my wife and son. I cant live life without them and I am lost and everyday I want to die. I lost all my life I just need prayer and God to hear me I feel I lost contact with God. Please someone pray for me.   • Please pray for me. I am a medical student and I encountered some difficulties with my gpa this semester. I missed the required gpa by a small fraction. However, in accordance with the school's policy I was recommended for dismissal. I am in the process of sending in an appeal in order to be reinstated but I can do nothing without the help of God. Please pray that he may go before my appeal and that his will may be done in my life. I believe that my work at this university is not done as yet and I would like to continue attending the school.   • I just want to give praise and thanks to our Most High God and creator, the great I AM through his son Jesus Christ who sits at his right hand in Heaven. He is indeed the way the truth and the light. Over the past few weeks there have been a few changes at work that I've had to adjust to. Most recently though, we were told that my supervisor would be transferred. This made me a little anxious because I have such a good raport with her and she has always been very pleasant and respectful of those she works with. It pained me to know that we would no longer work together. Moreover, we had no idea who would be replacing her. Immediately upon hearing the news I found a quite place sought my Lord and Saviour to tell him of my concerns. Things have been so peaceful in the office and I couldn't bear to have that changed. But my Jesus heard my prayer and delivered. Late last week one of the nices persons I know, whom I had worked with in the past showed and informed us she was sent to fill in. I was so overjoyed. I couldn't ask for a better replacement. And, I just want to glorify my great Jehovah God for hearing my prayer and for providing so perfectly for me. Hosanna in the highest! In the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. Amen.

  • Hello, my name Alicya I'm from Brazil. I ask you to pray for my boyfriend. He was hospitalized, had effusion of the lung, fluid in the lung and other diseases. He was hospitalized 21 days and now is better, because before he nearly died. He is at home but now he is awaiting the outcome of a biopsy. I ask you to pray for God to cure this problem in the lung.   • Hi, my name is Michael Beneventine and I am writing this prayer request simply because I have nowhere else to turn. I have battled with pain and an unknown disease for over a year now and nothing is being done to resolve my situation. I have fought with doctors, I have fought with Medicaid, and have asked family to help. I even tried asking my father and there are no results from any of my efforts. My family tells me that my insurance should cover any medical expense, but they won't... I ask that the Church would pray for me that He can lift this ailment from me or give me the strength to endure what is now out of my hands. I feel helpless and am truly scared.

I have two pray request: the first one is I finished school and now I need a job. God knows the type of job and hours I need because of daycare. the second one is this: but I must explain something. In Feb. of this year I prayed to God to find a man for me because I pick the wrong men for my life. I said God you will know this man's heart and the type of man that I need in my life. Because I don't go out but to this one park, he will have to ask me out. Well on May 13th I was driving by the park and something told me to stop at the park. I did. Steve asked me out. We have been spending time with each other start as friends, then more but back to being friends. I would like God to heal Steve's heart and open his eyes and heart. Please put a wall of protection around Steve while he is going through this - Satan wants to keep him there.

Twice last week in the still of night, intruders entered my family's yard and helped themselves to the fruits growing on our trees. The second time the thieves ensured that nothing was left and I couldn't help thinking about how my family had laboured tirelessly over our crops for so long just to have them taken away in one sweep. However, it wasn't long after that a feeling of relief replaced it because things could have been so much worse. Praise the Lord there was no attempt to break into our home; because then who knows what destruction would have been left in their wake? We have been together for almost two years and he has left me because he said he is having trouble trusting people. He said he loves me and I love him. He said he is still hurting and not able to be with me right now from all his past decisions.   • To our Great Almighty God, creator and giver of life to all things be all glory, praise and thanks in the name of his son Jesus Christ, our only high priest who sits victoriously at his right hand in heaven. So many things are going wrong in the world today. In my small West Indian country alone this year experienced the worst drought ever. All our lush mountains were quickly reduced to ash and our springs, reservoirs and aquifers were close to empty as we recorded more than 90 days of little to no rainfall. But all my heart and soul's praise still belongs to our holy God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for his unending mercies toward us even as we are so undeserving. Countries all around us are suffering great natural devastation from earthquakes, severe torrential rains, greater floods than they've ever known, landslides. There was even a case of a whole building being swallowed up in sinkholes. So many have lost their homes, and others their lives and loved ones. And those who are not at war with the weather are at war with others - so sad. And I realize just how fortunate the people of my country are. Because it seems as though God took his hand and covered us in the midst of all the stormy weather surrounding us so that we remained untouched; experiencing only merciful gentle breezes and soft showers to relieve the heat. How Amazing! And now that the rainy season has begun our parched grey/brown mountains are being restored to the lustrous shades of emerald they once were. So I bless the Lord with all I have within me and give praise to his holy name. He is most excellent and most glorious in all the universe. Hallelujah, through Jesus Christ his son. Amen!

Please join me in prayer for: 1) My family: My mom has a herniated disk in her lower back and has been in bed rest for a while, and we are afraid she may loose her job or worse she wont be able to return to her physical baseline. Also pray for my younger sister. She has been hanging out with the wrong people and has been rebelling against the Christian values of our home. 2) My love relationship: I had a relationship that lasted a year and a half, and although we had problems, we always found a solution. However, a year ago, A and I broke up... I'm still very much in love with him and I know he loves me too. I have been praying for reconciliation and I know the Lord has heard me. I pray that the Lord will bring us back together and we can continue our relationship based in God's love, and get married soon. 3) My family's finances: I recently lost my job and although the Lord blessed me with another one, the debt I acrued while I was unemployed is getting out of hand. I also had to get out of my lease and can't pay for the rest of the year. Today someone email me about subleting my apartment and I am praying for that. Pray for my family to be debt free. Thank you for your support and let us thank the Lord for the blessing that are about to come because He will hear our prayers and bless us with immensely.

  • Hello everyone, I have been a SDA all my life, in fact my dad was a pastor for many years. Throughout my life I saw many blessings come my way, but with them many struggles as well. I recently have felt exhausted and hopeless, since the trials seem to be non-stop. I graduated a year ago from nursing school. I am an RN, and I recently lost my job. I have been struggling to find another job and I contemplated the idea of going back home in MA, but I cant because of my lease. I am stuck in upstate NY, praying to find a job that helps me pay my bills, especially rent, which is due next month. I really need your prayers. Please keep me in your prayers.   • From Balch Springs, Texas - My son Jose, 18, and his girlfriend Catherine, 17, were coming home from a party 3:30 Sunday morning May 2nd. She was asleep in the front passenger seat. Jose fell asleep behind the wheel, ran off the road and crashed into a ditch. He was not injured. Catherine was in sicu w/head trauma. She also suffered a broken nose,leg, foot and has a fractured bone in her neck. Drugs were not involved, however, alcohol was. The police tested Jose for alcohol, he past the test and the police let him go. Catherine was moved from sicu to a private room today. Catherine's parents Helen and William are not letting Jose or myself see her. I understand they are hurt and upset. I also understand they had no business being in a club but this was an accident and it is by the grace of God they are still alive.This is a time to come together and put it all in God's hands. Please pray for every one involved. Cathrine, Jose, her parents and everyone involved. Thank you. God bless

We should all pray boldly to the Father for the return of Jesus, so we can move on with our eternal life! Hallelujah! Let's all be ready for that day of REJOICING.It's my daily prayer that my only child will join "us" in heaven someday. Please adopt Nathan in your prayers; for God's Holy Spirit to take over his way of life. He knows the WORD; all he has to do is claim it again. He has combat P.T.S.D., but regardless of that, he's doing well in Computer Engineering school, and he is a fun member of our household. He entertains us and is very respectful, and a gentleman. I claim God's promises daily. 2Samuel 7:4 and 1 Chron.17:3 says, "...and the Word of the Lord came to Nathan..."   • I am so consummed today. My husband has been carrying on a bold affair for years he and I share nothing. He comes in whenever he likes and leaves whenever he likes. He has not admitted to me about this but has told our youngest child, he's not divorcing neither am I. But I have been so overwhelmned recently. How can I still love this man who has destroyed his family? All the kids know of it. The woman has him as her boyfriend on Myspace.   • I have a 9 month old, Mallory, born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She has had 16 surgeries with many more to go and a lifetime of medicine . My prayer is for her to live. Her body is tired but her will to live, by the Grace of God, is strong. The doctors fear she may lose her limbs due to medications.
